TERMS OF SERVICE .
Effective 27 June 2026 · version 1.0
The short version
You're buying digital design files. We give you a perpetual licence to print them and use them in your own decorating work — personal projects and commercial sales of decorated cakes, cupcakes, mugs, tumblers, etc. You can't resell the files themselves, bundle them, or train AI on them.
Digital downloads are generally non-refundable, but we'll refund or replace if something's actually broken, you were double-charged, or we can't deliver what we promised.
Your access code (PWS-XXXX-XXXX) is your key — keep it private.
1. About us .
Pixel Wrap Studios (we, us, our) is a small digital design studio based in Sydney, Australia. We make printable wrap designs and pattern files sold as instant downloads.
Contact: hello@pixelwrapstudios.com
2. What you're buying .
Digital design files — typically high-resolution PNG, sometimes PDF or SVG — for printable wrap and pattern decorating. Specifically you may be buying:
- A single design file (the "single" tier)
- A themed set of related designs (the "set" tier)
- A flexible-pick bundle (10, 30, 75, or 150 files)
- All-Access — every design currently in the catalogue and every design we add to it in future, forever
What you're not buying: edible printed products. The designs must be printed by you (or a printer service you choose) onto edible media — icing sheets, rice paper — or non-edible substrates like vinyl, ceramic, or fabric.
3. Your access code .
When you complete a purchase, we generate a unique PWS-XXXX-XXXX code tied to your order. The code:
- Lets you re-claim your download links any time by pasting it in any of our tools (signed URLs refresh every paste — they expire 30 minutes after each claim)
- Acts as the identity bound to your future subscription account (when subscriptions launch)
- Is your recovery mechanism if you lose the original confirmation email
Keep your code private. Anyone with your code can claim your files. We treat it like a password — if you suspect it's been shared or exposed, email us and we'll rotate it.
4. Licence — what you can and can't do .
For each design file you purchase (or unlock via All-Access), we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence.
- Print and use the design for personal projects (your own cakes, mugs, decorations, etc.)
- Print and use the design for commercial decorating — selling decorated cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, mugs, tumblers, and similar items to your own customers
- Print as many copies as you need at any size and on any substrate appropriate to the design
- Modify the design (resize, recolour, crop) for your own use
- Use the design across personal projects, your bakery business, and any future business you operate
- Resell, redistribute, sub-licence, or transfer the design files themselves
- Bundle the files into a digital product collection or sell them as part of a course/template pack
- Upload the files to a stock-art marketplace or design template service
- Use the files (or modifications of them) to train AI/ML models
- Claim authorship of our designs
- Use our designs in a way that's unlawful, defamatory, or infringes anyone else's rights
In short: you're licensed to use the designs in your work, not to sell the designs themselves.
5. Refunds .
Because our products are digital files delivered instantly via download link and access code, we generally don't offer refunds for change of mind. That's standard practice for digital goods.
We will refund or replace if:
- The file is technically broken (corrupt, won't open, or wrong content)
- You were charged more than once for the same order
- We failed to deliver what we promised (you paid, no access code or files arrived)
- A file is materially different from how it's described or previewed on the site
To request a refund or replacement, email hello@pixelwrapstudios.com within 14 days of purchase with your access code and a brief description of the issue. We respond within 7 days.
6. Availability and uptime .
We make reasonable efforts to keep the catalogue available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Brief outages can happen due to our hosting providers (Stripe, Supabase), maintenance windows, or events outside our control. We aren't liable for downtime that's caused by these factors.
Your purchased files remain available to you regardless — once you've paid, your access code lets you re-claim your downloads any time the catalogue is up.
7. Quality and print testing .
We test every design at the standard cake-wrap and tile print sizes before publishing — typically 600+ DPI at common cake-wrap dimensions, 300+ DPI at A4. But the final printed result depends on your printer, paper, ink, and substrate.
8. Limitation of liability .
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel Wrap Studios' total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our products is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific design that caused the issue (or, for subscriptions, the most recent monthly payment).
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — for example, business losses arising from a printer issue with one of our files.
None of this limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, GDPR, or equivalent statutes in your jurisdiction that cannot be excluded by contract. Where those laws apply, your statutory rights override anything in this section.
9. Intellectual property .
All designs published on Pixel Wrap Studios are original creative works owned by us. We retain copyright in all designs; you receive a licence to use them as described in Section 4, but ownership stays with us.
The site itself — the tools, the catalogue interface, the typography choices, the brand — is also our intellectual property. Please don't copy or imitate it. The underlying design tools we've built are released as a courtesy; reverse-engineering or scraping the catalogue is not permitted.
10. Changes to these terms .
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes (anything that affects what you're buying, your licence, or your rights) are notified to existing customers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) don't trigger notification.
The version of these terms in force when you complete your purchase is the one that governs that purchase, even if we update the terms afterwards. The most current version is always at pixelwrapstudios.com/terms.html.
11. Governing law .
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes that can't be resolved by talking to us first are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the NSW courts.
If you're a consumer outside Australia, you may have additional rights under your local consumer law — those rights aren't displaced by this clause. Local mandatory consumer protections apply regardless of which courts govern the contract.
